The folks over at Versus Gameplay have just dropped the trailer for their upcoming tournament, Absolute Battle 5. This 5th installment of the Texas based tournament features a number of competitive video games, both fighting games as well as other genres.
Among the fighting games featured in the tournament, we have some tournament stalwarts such as Ultra Street Fighter IV, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Injustice Gods Among Us, Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate, BlazBlue Chronophantasma, Killer Instinct, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, as well as classic party fighter Super Smash Bros. Melee.
At stake is over $3,500 in pot bonuses including $1,000 for Ultra Street Fighter IV, $1,000 for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, $1,000 for Super Smash Bros. Melee, and $500 for Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Absolute Battle 5 takes place on November 14 to 16, 2014 at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Plano East in Plano, Texas. Those interested can head on over to the tournament’s website, take note however that online registration ends on November 6.
