Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- Lands in North America on December 16

While we know that Arc System Work’s much anticipated Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- is launching in Japan on December 4, the North American version has had a nebulous “winter” release date for some time now. That has now changed. On a post over at the PlayStation Blog, Aksys Games’ director of production Frank “Bo” deWindt has officially announced that the highly-anticipated fighter will find its way to the region on December 16, just two week after the game’s Japanese launch.

Much like the Japanese release, North America will receive a limited edition for collectors, packaged inside a special box fashioned to look like the “Backyard” book from the game. This bundle will include a copy of the Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- Vocal Collection, the character book (which contains information on the characters, terms, and concepts from the series), and a special Sol Badguy  “FREE” belt buckle keychain.

This limited edition box will be available for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. For those interested, both versions are now available for pre-order.

In the meantime, check out the new North American release trailer below and get ready to rock!
