Earlier this month, Aksys Games came forward with the regrettable news that the limited edition package for Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- would be delayed in North America due to ongoing port strikes in Los Angeles and Long Beach. While a concrete time frame wasn’t established, leaving the possibility of a “one to two week postponement” open for western fans eagerly anticipating its release.

Fortunately, it appears the consequences won’t extend past the initial estimate.

In a brand new post on their website, Aksys has announced that the Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- collectors bundle will be available on December 23, a week after the original December 16 release date. “We’d like to apologize for the delay,” the publisher concluded, “and thank all our fans for their patience in this matter.”

The limited version of this title comes packaged with a ton of extras, including updated packing, an exclusive character guide, and more.

Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-‘s regular edition and digital PlayStation Network release are still scheduled to launch on December 16.
