It seems that the Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai isn’t the only new arcade stick that HORI has in the works. In line with the game’s Japanese release this April, HORI is set to release a BlazBlue: Chronophantasma EXTEND arcade stick.
Unlike the HRAP4 Kai, however, this new controller utilizes a smaller form factor similar to the company’s older Fighting Stick models. This, along with the lower price of ¥10,584 (~$89 USD), seems to indicate that it will not likely feature the arcade spec Hayabusa lever and Kuro buttons. That said, it still retains the cross-platform compatibility of its more expensive brethren, allowing player to use it across Sony’s PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 platforms.
This arcade stick will be available on April 23, the same day BlazBlue: Chronophantasma EXTEND launches in Japan. It is currently up for pre-order through Amazon Japan.
