Ibuki to Join Street Fighter V Alongside Cinematic Story Expansion in June

When Capcom first announced that Ibuki was the next character coming to Street Fighter V, they declined to give an actual release date. A new update from Capcom Japan, however, gives us an idea of when she’ll finally hit the game. According to Capcom’s Saikyo Blog, Ibuki will now be coming alongside the cinematic story mode expansion later this June.

While no concrete release date was ever given for Street Fighter V’s third DLC character, this technically does count as a delay since the official release schedule promised that the character would come out in May.

This isn’t the first time that content for Street Fighter V has been delayed. The game’s “Zenny Shop” that would allow players to convert real money to in-game currency was also originally meant to release in March alongside Alex.

In addition to this announcement, they also acknowledge their mistake with the recent trailer for Ibuki–which has a mouse cursor pop up about halfway through it–and stated that a fixed trailer is coming soon.
