Injustice 2 “Legendary Edition” now available to pre-order, to be released March 27

Legends come together in a new, beefier package for Injustice 2.

A new compilation edition — think “game of the year” version — of NetherRealm Studios’ popular comic book-inspired fighter Injustice 2 has finally been confirmed as available, with a release date for march 27, 2018. Best Buy is now offering the Injustice 2 Legendary Edition on their web storefront; you can grab this new release of Injustice 2 for $59.99 USD, either digitally or on disc, for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

As the updated cover art suggests, this new package includes the DLC characters that have been gradually added to the original base game since launch, and some other goodies. From the store listing:

Features 10 additional characters (including Darkseid), six premiere skins: Power Girl, Reverse-Flash, Grid Cyborg, Jon Stewart Green Lantern, Black Lightning, Bruce Wayne (new), as well as god and demon shaders.

At the time of this writing, Best Buy is the only retailer offering this package, but there is no cause to expect continued exclusivity; an Amazon listing for the digital version of this title briefly appeared earlier before being pulled down (cached version viewable here). It’s a pretty safe bet that this package will be available from numerous sources.
