There’s a good chance that you’ve been letting players get away with murder when you block a super in SoulCalibur VI. As was the case when supers first came out in Tekken 7, these meter-spending cinematics seem strong at first, but hide a huge weakness in their bad frame data and vulnerable startups. But it doesn’t have to stay that way: with the latest guide from Scallywag 93, you don’t ever have to let a super go unpunished again. There’s still some nuanced situations you have to consider, such as Raph’s Prep varation or Nightmare’s unblockable, but like anything else, it just takes time and training.
