Mail.ru has announced that service for Lord of the Rings Online in Russia will be closing effective June 1st. As of this writing, players can no longer register for the game and no more payments for microtransaction items are being accepted. A special tavern with all equipment in it has been set up to equip players with the best of the best for one last epic journey through Middle-Earth.
