Nintendo will have a playable demo of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for attendees at CEO 2018 next weekend

Hot on the heels of Nintendo’s gameplay reveal of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at the E3 2018 last week, it looks like Smash fans will have another golden opportunity to try out the latest entry in the franchise.

The CEO Twitter page has announced that Nintendo will have a playable demo of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at their booth next weekend at CEO 2018, which is taking place at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. You can read the announcement tweet below:

This is good on Nintendo’s part, since they want their fans to try out SSBU ahead of the December 2018 launch to get as much feedback as possible — so they can make the necessary improvements and adjustments before the holiday season. Since the Super Smash Bros. series has a huge scene in Florida, you better believe the lines to try out the newest entry will be very, very long.

Today is the last day to register online for CEO 2018, so if you are still planning on attending one of the biggest fighting game tournaments of the year, sign up tonight at smash.gg before midnight. If not, there will still be “emergency” registration at the door.
