Recent tweets from the official Twitter for the zany action brawler ARMS reveal alternative color schemes for characters, and a quick peek at a new weapon coming to the game. The tweets contain an image of the character Ninjara sporting pink instead of his original green garb, and a short clip of a weapon, apparently called the Chakram, that replaces the standard spring-loaded boxing glove with a chargeable boomerang-like projectile.

The description of the Chakram describes it as an “evolved ninja weapon,” which could imply it’s exclusivity to Ninjara, but not enough detail was disclosed to say for certain. The discreet nature of these updates could be due to the looming June 16th release date of ARMS, or it could be the start of a series of minute reveals that include similar details to the title’s other five characters.
