Tekken 7 will also take place after Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition!
With Evo 2019 now less than two weeks away, the President of Evo, Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar, has officially revealed the days and order that each of the finals for the official lineup of games will take place. Kicking things off on Friday will be SoulCalibur VI. Boasting 742 entrants, making it the largest SoulCalibur tournament in Evo’s history, this will certainly be an epic clash of Souls and Swords that will be eternally retold.
Moving on to Saturday, we’ll see the conclusions, in order, of Under Night In-Brith EXE: Late[st], followed by Dragon Ball FighterZ, Samurai Shodown, and Mortal Kombat 11. Finally, Sunday’s arena finals will begin, as expected, with BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, followed by Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, marking the first time a Street Fighter title has not closed the event in over a decade.
The ever-growing Tekken 7 will be the semi-Main Event, with the record-shattering Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, boasting a massive 3,492 entrants–making it the largest Smash tournament of all-time–closing out the evening. You can see Mr. Wizard’s Tweet about the order below. This order also lines up with the results of a poll Wiz conducted on Twitter.

They also teased that there will be more news from Sony and PlayStation at the event, so it will be interesting to see what they have in store. You can view that Tweet below.
