It’s been a busy day for the folks over at Capcom with all the issues plaguing the Street Fighter V beta. After multiple reports of errors trying to log in, the developers was forced to take the beta servers down this morning to figure out the issues.
As part of this process, Capcom has announced that they will be running a test of the servers for North American players tonight from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM PDT. During this time, participants in the region can try to jump into the servers and play Street Fighter V.
According to Capcom’s Peter “Combofiend” Rosas, the reason that it’s limited to North America only is to reduce the strain on the servers and provide a better network environment for them to fix the problem. Once they’re able to get things up and running, then they will do a global test with Europe and Asia.
Further updates regarding server status will be posted every 20 minutes over on Capcom-Unity.
