The online qualifiers keep coming for Smash 4, as smash.gg is collaborating with UGC Events to hold a set of qualifiers for the UGC Smash Open in Collinsville, Illinois from December 2nd to 4th. The winner of this online event will gain an all-expenses paid trip to the Smash Open, complete with flights, hotel, and venue fee all paid for, as well as commemorative UGC and smash.gg merch.
As with other online qualifiers, there will be four separate events held over four days in November, with the first event being held tomorrow at 4pm Pacific. The other three tournaments will be held at 5pm PDT on November 2nd, 4pm PDT on November 7th and 5pm PDT on November 8th. It’s very short notice so if you have the time free to compete, you could be gaining an easy trip to that top 32. The actual top 32 will be held on Thursday, November 10th at 5pm PDT, with the top 8 of each qualifier making it to the final bracket.
Similar to other online qualifiers like the recently announced Hero to ZeRo qualifier, this qualifier is only open to entrants from the USA, Mexico, and Canada, with entrants needing to meet the connection quality threshold to compete.
