Over the weekend, the team behind the Street Fighter IV Remix mod put the finishing touches on a full release version and set it free for the masses. If this is the first you’re hearing about this project, you should know that the mod brings about plenty of changes to the game as a whole: faster movement, the ability to attack and block right out of a dash, and plenty more. Think the official ‘Omega Mode’ cranked up to eleven.
Apart from general gameplay adjustments, the characters themselves have also seen quite a few changes. After a couple of minutes with Ibuki, I noticed that, for example, her short>forward>roundhouse target combo now launches vertically, she has an EX version of her command run, and her kunai come in much larger groupings.
