World of Warcraft – Battle for Azeroth Scores 3.4M Copies Sold for a New Day-One Sales Record

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the Battle for Azeroth expansion to World of Warcraft has scored a new Day-One sales record by moving 3.4M copies on August 14th. Seemingly, this does not include units pre-ordered prior to launch day. This makes BfA the “fastest-selling WoW expansion ever” and makes it “one of the fastest-selling PC games of all time”.
