X-Kira’s latest round of datamining reveals more Resident Evil Crossover Costumes, playable NPCs coming to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition

The Biohazard outbreak is spreading to even more of the World Warriors!

It was officially revealed earlier this week that we would be receiving a set of Resident Evil Crossover Costumes in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. The three attires included in the pack will see Cammy White don the iconic beret and S.T.A.R.S uniform of Jill Valentine, Kolin become a double agent with the attire of Ada Wong, and Urien continuing Albert Wesker’s quest for complete global saturation.

As previously reported, these attires, along with festive Holiday 2018 Christmas wear for the Season 3 quartet of Sakura, Blanka, Falke, and Cody, and Nash’s Cannon Spike attire (which is currently available though Menat’s Fighting Chance) were all reported by him. The Brazilian dataminer has continued to tease more potential upcoming content, noting that there will be even more Resident Evil Crossover Costumes on the way in 2019 that will see Ryu don the BSAA uniform of lead male protagonist Chris Redfield, Cody getting infected with the Golgotha Virus to resemble the pipe-carrying first G form of Dr. William Birkin, and the monstrous Abigail becoming even more terrifying with a Nemesis T-Type outfit. Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy attires were also mentioned through photos. This tie-in makes sense, as the Resident Evil 2 remake launches on January 25th, 2019. He also claims that Falke will receive a Crossover Costume of Regina from Dino Crisis. Furthermore, he notes that Shadow Lady will eventually appear to challenge us in Extra Battle as a third Crossover Costume for Chun-Li.

Next, X-Kira claims that Capcom will be implementing a new game mode that will allow us to battle with the NPC characters, such as the Shadaloo Dolls and Phantom Bison, as well as the enhanced CPU opponents from Extra Battle — like The Master Ryu, Ultra Heavyweight Champion Zangief, Shin Akuma, and Triggered Necalli — in Vs. CPU and Vs. Player matches. This certainly sounds like it could be a fun casual mode to enjoy with some friends.

The dataminer also claims that there will be a “double reveal” for Season 4, which will likely take place at next month’s Capcom Cup, and that “two Queens” will be joining the playable roster, and that “The Queen who all expect to be the first will be the last and the least expected will be the first. Double Queen.” He continues, saying that a “Tarot card will be one of the new moves,” seeming to hint at the potential arrival of Menat’s master Rose, who can be seen with a redesigned look in Menat’s Arcade ending, which X-Kira currently has as his profile picture. His banner also features a picture of Crimson Viper from Urien’s Character Story, implying that she may finally be joining the fray in Season 4. He also states that the Nostalgic Stages he posted about in the past are all still undergoing QA testing before an eventual release.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the dry spell of slow Fight Money acquisition could be coming to an end, as X-Kira claims that Capcom will be implementing a timer system that will reward you with increasing amounts of Fight Money the longer you play the game, in either offline or online modes, provided you stay logged into the CFN. You can see all of X-Kira’s Tweets below.

As always, take this information with a grain of salt, as none of it has been officially confirmed. However, with his ever-increasing great track record, it might be safe to keep some of this content in mind once Season 4 begins.
