Justin Wong has long been considered one of the greatest Marvel Vs. players of all time, so when he begins to speak about a game in the series, people listen. As such, Echo Fox made sure they gathered his thoughts on Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite into a preview article on their website.
Justin doesn’t mince words by stating that he believes the game will be a rejuvenation of the Marvel series, stating, “I think the Marvel scene will come back out of retirement from MvC2/MvC3 to try this game out since it’s a new game and a new concept.” He also states that because of the changes in the system mechanics that, “defending in this game will be tough even for seasoned players.” However, the 2v2 assist-less aspect is what he feels like players will struggle with the most, saying, “I think the players will understand how to transition into 2v2. What I expect will give players a hard time is that they don’t have assists to back them up, or they have to constantly tag to keep the flow of the game in their favor.”
