Meet the Cast of Dengeki Bunko FIGHTING CLIMAX in Sega’s Official Character Breakdowns

When Dengeki Bunko FIGHTING CLIMAX launches on home consoles in Japan later this year, it will do so with characters from a number the Degeki Bunko imprints light novels. For those looking to familiarize themselves with these characters, Sega has released a number of breakdowns that highlight what they are capable of in the crossover fighter.

While the videos are in Japanese, they visually demonstrate most of the characters’ movesets, combos, and how well they pair with the assist character from their respective series.

Shana with Wilhemina (Shakugan no Shana)

Kirino with Kuroneko (Oreimo)

Mikoto with Touma (A Certain Magical Index)

Shizuo with Celty (Durarara!!)

Asuna with Leafa (Sword Art Online)

Kuroyukihime with Haruyuki (Accel World)

In addition to the character-specific guides, Sega also released a video that demonstrates FIGHTING CLIMAX’s gameplay mechanics. While it’s also in Japanese, most of what is shown covers fighting game basics and can easily be followed just by watching the action on screen. If you haven’t been keeping up with the previous arcade release, this should help you catch up on important information.

Dengeki Bunko FIGHTING CLIMAX launches for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on November 13.

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Revan is Coming

Revan is Coming

Star Wars: the Old Republic 3.0 has been formally announced, and it’s proof that BioWare Austin is very fond of the letters S and R and the word ‘shadow’. Shadow of Revan promises to bring even more story to the almost three-year-old MMO, as players get to hopefully sink their teeth into what is the end cap of the video game trilogy focusing on an era in galactic history where he was pretty much the central lore figure.

MrFlubbs Delivers Second Round of Ghost Rider Combos in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

MrFlubbs has been giving lesser-used Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 characters some time in the spotlight for a while now. The last time we heard from him, he offered some tutorials surrounding the proper use of everyone’s favorite son of Odin, Thor. Today, he has offered up a second helping of Ghost Rider combos just in time for the Halloween season.

The combos, which you’ll find below, range from every match practicality to something bordering on training-room only, but they all offer options that let the chain-wielding rider do what he does best: put up a very unique ranged fight.
