Stop the Assault and Learn to Punish Rolento’s Mekong Delta Attack in Ultra Street Fighter IV

There are certain moves in fighting games that just seem impossible to punish, despite what the frame data says–Rolento’s Mekong Delta Attack in Ultra Street Fighter IV is one such move. This rolling attack can seem hard to deal with at times, and many are tricked into thinking that they cannot punish it due to the way it flies back after it hits.

To help those that see no way to counter the tricky soldier, Eternal recently put together a video that demonstrates how you can punish him for his errant rolling. The video goes over each and every character in the game, touching on which normals, specials, and even Ultras can be used to put a stop to Rolento’s shenanigans.

This is an incredibly useful resource for all you budding Street Fighter players out there, so be sure to check it out.

Skullgirls Encore’s Beowulf Hurtles Towards Beta Status

Much like he’s done in the past, Lab Zero Games’ Mike Zaimont brought a brand new build of Skullgirls Encore to last week’s Salty!, which of course included some great new additions for the indie fighter’s next character, Beowulf.

In this latest update, the downloadable wrestler is closer than ever to being added to the Endless Beta on Steam due to the presence of his entire lineup of normal attacks. The most recent additions include his previously missing standing fierce attacks (both with and without his chair), standing roundhouse, and jumping jab.

Lastly, Beowulf’s signature wrestling ring was also on display, complete with background banners that celebrate the characters currently taking part in the match.
