Everyone has a fighting chance
After Friday’s big Eternal Crusade news, this week we’re going to keep it short, and talk for a moment about the new things we have learned about the Space Marine support class, the Apothecary. There has been a lot of speculation about exactly how the various support classes were going to work. Brent Ellison, Lead Game Designer on Eternal Crusade has indicated in the past that Support classes were going to function as force multipliers.
Today we’ve got another collection of short combo videos for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. These clips each contain a single combo for some vastly different teams. Let’s get started!
The first combo, from Broshadian, will change the way that you look at Spider-Man. When Peter Parker teams up with Rocket Raccoon and Deadpool, the Web Throws just keep coming until even the heartiest health bars are drained. It’s damaging, it’s fun to watch, and I don’t even want to think about how frustrating it would be to fall victim to.
Next up, The FatTreeWizard shows off some interesting tech when Super-Skrull buddies up with Amaterasu. It seems that after Ammy has thoroughly slowed things down, Kl’rt can repeatedly cram a boot into his opponents face for one of the most disrespectful loops in the galaxy. It’s the perfect way to close out any match!
To round things out, we’ve got a couple of videos from Eldon Moore that involve Chun-Li leading two very different groups of fighters into the fray. The first puts her with Rocket Raccoon and Dante to deliver an incredible 1.1 million damage before the blows stop coming.
The second manages to reach the same damage total, but this time Chun finds herself hanging out with Dormammu and Shuma-Gorath. Certainly an unlikely team, but not one to take lightly.

World Series of Fighting has added a lightweight contest between Brazilian veteran Jorge Patino and Floridian Eric Reynolds to the televised main card of next weekend’s WSOF 15.
The Skyforge team has laid out the details for ‘adepts’, a special type of follower that can be quite helpful to the budding deities in the game. Adepts come in several types including Engineer, Templar, Sorcerer, Mystic, Preacher, Healer, Envoy and Agent. Adepts can be sent out on special missions to carry out the orders of the player.
Venom47 is back with another round of impractical Ultra Street Fighter IV combos for your viewing pleasure. As with previous installments to this series, most of the combos will never make it out of the training room, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t fun to watch unfold.
As has become standard in all training mode-only combo videos, Decapre’s Psycho Stream makes multiple appearances and for once Dhalsim takes a crack at dishing out some damage while punching that purple ball of plasma. He may not be fast, but his long limbs keep him popping out fierces until the energy ball eventually dissipates.
Venom47 also included a handful of hitbox and hurtbox oddities that give us yet another look at what we already know: sometimes some weird stuff goes on when Hugo gets involved.
