Ah, Thanksgiving. The time of the year where many will head home to visit their families, gorge themselves on every carb they can find, and fall asleep in front of one of the day’s many football games. With this glorious holiday quickly approaching in the United States, Sony has provided a number of great deals for games currently available through PlayStation Network.

In addition to great multiplayer games like LittleBigPlanet and NBA Jam, two fighters have been put on sale for those of you who prefer to dish out combos after the leftovers have been gathered up. Both Arcana Heart LOVE MAX!!!!! (on PlayStaton 3 and PlayStation Vita) and Chaos Code have seen significant discounts during this current promotion, a full breakdown for which you’ll find below.

Title Platform PS Plus Price Sale Price Regular Price
Arcana Heart 3 LOVE MAX!!!!! PS3 $14.00 $27.99 $39.99
Arcana Heart 3 LOVE MAX!!!!! Vita $14.00 $27.99 $39.99
Chaos Code PS3 $5.99 $7.99 $11.99

As always, PlayStation Plus subscribers will enjoy further markdowns than their regular counterparts, and keep in mind that Chaos Code still does not feature netplay capabilities.

These titles will be on sale until December 1, so don’t miss out while sleeping off your feasts.

Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late, BlazBlue: Chronophantasma Coming Up Big at Northeast Championships 15

Without a doubt, east coast majors surpass nearly every region in the United States when it comes to support for airdashers, and it appears as if this year’s installment of Northeast Championships will be no different.

Organizer Eric “Big E” Small recently shared a preview of early registration numbers, listing the official lineup in order without divulging actual numbers. While it’s no surprise Ultra Street Fighter IV comes in at first, I admit that I did a bit of a double-take when I saw Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late is currently ranked just below the Capcom mainstay, surpassing popular titles like Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and King of Fighters XIII.

In an age where new fighting games are almost always on the horizon, it’s great to see titles outside the usual suspects have some staying power in the competitive scene.

And if that’s not enough to pique your interests, Small also announced that Big E Gaming will be providing a $500 bonus to BlazBlue: Chronophantasma’s prize pool. This is in addition to the thousands of dollars they are also set to dole out for Ultra Street Fighter IV and Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Northeast Championships 15 is scheduled for December 5-7 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Registration ends this Friday, so be sure to secure your spot in the tournament by visiting their official site before the deadline.
