Keeping on top of tournaments for major fighting games can sometimes be a daunting task, especially for titles only available in Japan. Such is the case for Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-…well, was the case, rather, because one immensely gracious member of the community took it upon himself to rectify that problem.

Doug, also known as keeponrockin, is a member of the Northern Calgary scene who recently launched the aptly named Keep On Rockin’, a website that gathers tournament footage and organizes it for easy browsing. This allows players to search for matches based on a number of categories, including the date it was uploaded, the title, the competitors who took part, and the characters that were used.

Even cooler, videos that include multiple matches are automatically timestamped to the appropriate spot in the footage, a step that increases the ease of use even further.

The website organizer has mentioned in previous tweets that all this work, apart from the timing, is done by hand, making this a huge labor of love that should definitely help out much of the community. We salute you, keeponrockin!

You’ll find this extensive database by following the link below. Our friends over at Dustloop have also added quick links to the top of their own website if you happen to visit their forums on a regular basis. In any case, be sure to check it out and see what you can find.

The Value of 12X Class XP

With the launch of early access for Shadow of Revan on Tuesday, Star Wars: the Old Republic retired a subscriber perk that had allowed hordes of filthy casuals like myself to finally get through each class story and have a character at the now-previous level cap. Today’s article is about that perk and whether it ultimately had value to the game.

World of Warcraft: Grouping Up

Grouping Up

Much has occurred since my inaugural column on World of Warcraft. I’ve managed to climb to the giddy heights of level 100, tearing through the Spires of Arak and rolling hills of Nagrand on my way. I’ve improved my garrison, expanding it to the maximum size possible and recruiting new followers. And I’ve been diving into group content, from dungeons through to heroics and even the Molten Core Raid.
