A Look Back at 2014

Seriously, it’s the end of the year already? This year has flown by! It feels like it was just a couple of days ago I was helping to slay the werewolves of Camlorn and when it fact it was roughly 270 days ago. Time really flies when you’re enjoying every moment of it. Well almost every moment of it, waiting in the LFG queue is never an enjoyable experience. Within these 38 weeks since the game released, so much has changed and improved.

Eubank Jr to challenge WBA champion Dmitry Chudinov

Chris Eubank Jr will face Russia’s Dmitry Chudinov on the Tyson Fury undercard at the O2 Arena in London on February 28.

Eubank Jr’s challenge against Interim WBA middleweight champion Chudinov will be the chief support for Fury’s defence of his WBO International heavyweight belt against Christian Hammer.

Butler gets shot at IBF champion Zolani Tete on March 6

Britain’s Paul Butler (17-0, 8 KOs) will challenge IBF super-flyweight champion Zolani Tete (19-3, 16 KOs) on March 6 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
The 26-year-old was due to face the South African in October but southpaw Tete, 26, broke his hand in training and he went on to instead beat Ismael Garnica on points, also at the Echo Arena.

Hit the Mean Streets of Metro City with EG|Momochi’s Latest Ultra Street Fighter IV Lecture

Evil Geniuses’ Momochi has been cranking out tutorials centered around easing players into advanced Ultra Street Fighter IV play for a little while now. So far, the tutorials have covered plenty of useful topics, including high-level applications of various option selects surrounding throws and sweeps as well as other tactics that see wide application throughout the game’s cast of characters.

His most recent video takes things a step deeper and focuses instead on a single character: Cody. While a great deal of the information provided in his earlier tutorials applies, this closeup view of the bored brawler allows Momochi to explore his neutral game, combos, and a plethora of other useful tidbits. He also spends time speaking on the changes that Cody received in the Ultra update and how many of them can be applied.
