Star Wars: The Old Republic: But Everyone Else Was Doing It Too!

But Everyone Else Was Doing It Too!

This week, Star Wars: the Old Republic put in a patch that had a fairly large number of tweaks to the game, mostly a lot of bugfixes and updates to various group activities such as changing which comms drop and rebalancing certain encounters. Sadly, however, much of these things were not the topic of many conversations about the game the past few weeks.

Shadowrun: Hong Kong Defies KickStarter Fatigue

Like many of you I’m suffering from Kickstarter fatigue. I’m even starting to grow weary of writing about it. Even new IPs from well renowned developers fail to raise my pulse if they are seeking money from players first and plan on delivering a product second. Doopliss and Desk Keep Focus on Ultra Street Fighter IV’s Omega Mode

With news swirling about new titles like Street Fighter V, Mortal Kombat X, and Tekken 7, our attention towards Ultra Street Fighter IV’s Omega Mode has drifted a bit since it was first released. But just because we haven’t been posting about content relating to Omega’s unique remixed gameplay doesn’t mean folks haven’t stopped creating it, and we have some great stuff to show off this afternoon.

First up, Doopliss has released a couple of lengthy combo videos over the past few weeks, broken up between original World Warriors and those that first made appearances in Super Turbo. Much like their earlier exhibitions, these feature some crazy stuff only possible in Omega, making full use of the new tools the characters have been granted.

Of course, you can’t have a discussion about combo videos these days without mentioning Desk, and he’s certainly been putting in work since Ultra Street Fighter IV was updated. As of today, the execution master has released a grand total of thirty-five Omega videos. While we’ve featured some of them before, you’ll find the full playlist included below to help you catch up.

What are some of your favorite Omega videos so far? Feel free to let us know in the comments!
