One of the mechanics that has been a part of the Street Fighter IV series since day one is the lenient auto-correct window that allows moves to change sides on crossup. For those wondering how this can be used advantageously, bafael recently put out a new video teaching players how to do just that.

The key to this, according to the video below, is to delay the move input based on both your own wakeup timing and your opponents crossup timing, then hit back or down back after the motion. This is because most players will time their jump-in so that reversals will simply go under them. Meanwhile, holding back or down back afterwards makes it so that you option select a block in case your opponents attack hits before your reversal comes out.
