AirBehr Dojo Kicks Off Season Two with a Lesson on Ultra Street Fighter IV’s Delayed Wakeup

It’s been quite some time since we heard from Canada Cup Gaming’s Air and Behrudy, but they recently returned with the first installment of the AirBehr Dojo’s sophomore season.

Much like the previous round of videos, which focused on useful lessons for Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012, this outing is all about one aspect of Ultra Street Fighter IV that should help players gain a deeper understanding of how to play the game. And what better way to begin a season than with a discussion of a mechanic that’s new to Ultra?

Delayed wakeup was added to Street Fighter IV as a way to lessen the strength setup-heavy characters had in competition. Whether it achieved that goal is still up for debate, but that doesn’t mean you should forget about it entirely. In the video below, the helpful duo describe how the technique works, how to deal with it on offense, and more.
