Tier 6 Command Battlecruisers Introduced

The Star Trek Online site has been updated with a new post that introduces the forthcoming Tier 6 Command Battlecruisers. The Command Captain Specialization tree and Command Bridge Officers were recently introduced into STO during its anniversary update and, according to the blog post, players will be able to take full advantage of these new features with a Command Battlecruiser.

Get the Skinny on Dead or Alive 5 Last Round’s Directional Inputs

Team NINJA returned recently with the second installment of their beginner tutorial series for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round. While the first installment focused on timing inputs instead of mashing, this time Peter and Briana look at combining direction inputs with attack inputs.

By doing this, characters gain access to more moves, similar to what we’d call command normals in 2D fighters. These are important in most 3D fighters, as they allow players to extend their combos in more ways than just simply relying on regular strikes.

As for Dead or Alive 5, this technique holds even more significance since each character’s all important Critical Burst attack (which sets up inescapable combos) is usually triggered by a directional input and an attack.
