Over the past few weeks, Capcom Fighters (by way of Capcom UK) and Winner Stays On have been putting on a variety of Ultra Street Fighter IV broadcasts to promote the top tier competitors the European region has to offer. While this manifested in a new weekly tournament series, they also put on a handful of excellent exhibitions featuring players like Ryan Hart, RZR.CG|Problem X, Pro Fluke, and many more.

Replays of these intense first-to-five sets recently began to make their way online, most of which you’ll find below for your viewing pleasure. If you missed out on watching live, be sure to check these out for a first-hand look at the power that resides in Europe.

Plenty of things set Akuma apart from the rest of the shoto lineup in Ultra Street Fighter IV: aerial fireballs, the ability to cancel his far standing fierce into specials, his long-standing affinity with the Satsui no Hado, and his roundhouse. When performed at a distance, this high damage button moves the purveyor of the dark arts forward a great distance while dishing out two hits–perfect for approaching focus-happy opponents.

But this button is good for plenty more beyond that. It can be used to begin and extend combos that keep the demon’s damage at a respectable level.
