Brush Up on Some Okizeme Options in Ultra Street Fighter IV

Since there are so many options available after knocking down an opponent in Ultra Street Fighter IV, it’s easy, and quite common, to pick a few of those options and rotate through them as you see fit. Okizeme comes down to training opponents to do what you want them to do–or at least to expect something out of you–so that you can open them up for massive damage. The more tricks that you have up your sleeve, the more likely it is that you’ll be able to turn situations in your favor.

ShoryuSengan recently put together a video as a sort of okizeme primer that shows many, many options that the player applying pressure has to throw around. While primarily centered around some situations that are specific to Ken as far as timing is concerned, the general ideas and a few of the setups themselves apply across the entire roster. These options include meaty attacks, delaying crouch techs, and plenty more.

If you’re struggling with what to do when you score a knockdown, or if you just want to make sure you’ve got everything on lock, check out the video below.
