Ky Kiske is a perfect character for players who are just starting out in Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-. His familiar, shoto-like moveset provides those coming from other titles a great entry point, and can be learned with a similar approach.

To help players build fundamentals, Shinobi recently hosted a tutorial stream that covered the basics of how to play the series protagonist. For those who missed it or prefer to watch archives in a more stable player, his discussion has now been uploaded to YouTube.

Plenty of attacks and maneuvers in Ultra Street Fighter IV leave the character performing them in aerial frames. Many of these are easy to guess: jumping (no kidding, right?), back dashing, tossing out a Shoryuken, the list goes on and on. But there are some attacks that cause an aerial state when the character in question is firmly planted on the ground, winding up the attack.

One such move that falls into this category is Juri’s fireball, the Fuhajin.

Upon the release of the fireball, Juri enters aerial frames for a brief moment, but it’s just long enough for some incredibly potent anti-air attacks to scoop her up off of the ground. A couple of the most obvious ways to take advantage of this information can be found in the video below.
