Mirroring the Original Console Experience

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D gives a whole new meaning to the term, "standing on the shoulders of giants." This adaptation of the Wii classic has you take control of a young man, Shulk, searching for answers about his mysterious weapon, the Monado Blade. The game takes place on a world made up of the fallen forms of two titans Bionis and Mechonis. Bionis is home to the biological life forms and Mechonis is home to the mechanical life forms.

Join the Super Best Friends for Some Lethal League Action

The Super Best Friends’ most recent episode of Friday Night Fisticuffs shows the team taking to the hard streets of Lethal League for a few rounds of “the most competitive baseball game you’ve ever seen.” If you’re not familiar with the Reptile Games title, it made showings during Ultimate Fighting Game Tournament 9’s mystery game tournament as well as at Evolution as part of last year’s indie showcase.

The game is a lot like a two-to-four person match of air hockey, but instead of scoring goals, the objective is to knock out the other players by slamming its anti-gravity projectile into them. The controls consist of only two types of swings, movement inputs, and a jump, so there’s a very low level of entry to get going, but things can get out of hand rather quickly, as showcased in the session below.

The Sword Coast Legends team has released a pair of background biographies on two of the companions that will be featured in Sword Coast Legends, Illydia, an elven cleric and Larethar Gulgrin, a gold dwarf rogue. The bios give some background on the companion, general information about each one’s race, and a picture too.
