The Elder Scrolls Online is coming to console in just over a month. With the console beta in the books, and players sharing their experiences with the game in various places around the internet, as a PC player, several few patterns stand out and make me wonder if the console versions will be the definitive version of ESO, and if this game just might be a breakthrough for MMORPGs on console overall.
Daybreak Game Company has announced that the Rum Cellar Campaign for EverQuest II is now available for purchase. The new content features two brand new solo zones, three heroic zones, tons of fantastic new loot, new achievements and collections and much more. In addition to the Rum Cellar Campaign, today’s update brought a host of other fixes and balances to EQII.

If there’s one common thread that runs through all of Alpharad’s Super Smash Bros. for Wii U videos, it’s that a Little Mac will, at least once, do what Mac does best and misuse one of his attacks and go sailing off the stage to an untimely death. It’s just what Mac does online.
Back in January, Alpharad decided to don the gloves himself and take a swing at some For Glory matches and a final boss battle against a Mii Mike Tyson, and the results weren’t pretty.
Now, after three months worth of hitting the gym and taking early morning jogs in his pink jumpsuit, Alpharad has teamed up with StylesX2 and picked up the gloves yet again. This time around, things are quite a bit different; there are combos, hard reads, and even a down air kill, all paired with the style of humor that this series has become known for. Character models are possibly the most important aspect of a graphical MMO. After all, the avatars that we create and play through are us in many ways, so they need to look and feel like extensions of us, into the game world. For some players, that means the avatar should look heroic, or beautiful, or needs to offer a ton of customization. Whatever the particular player wants in an avatar, the good news is that there is probably an MMO out there that offers just for what they are looking.

While fans have been excited to see veterans like TJ Combo, Maya, and Cinder step into the ring over the course of Killer Instinct’s second season, one character in particular has continued to elude us since her first appearance in season one’s secret ending: Aria.
Little has been divulged about Aria other than her connections to UltraTech, but we now have a better look at her design thanks to an appearance in Cinder’s launch trailer, which was released earlier today. Though still a shady silhouette, we can see that she sports a robotic look that may provide some hints to her gameplay should she become part of the roster in the future.
