Everyone has a fighting chance
The latest Star Wars: The Old Republic update will be arriving on Tuesday, April 28th. Called "Rise of the Emperor", the update brings a new planet and storyline into the game. Players will need to have purchased the Shadow of Revan expansion and a character at level 60 to be able to access the new content.
The Guild Wars 2 Facebook page has been updated with a beautiful new image of a Mesmer using a shield. Just further confirmation that the Profession will be getting the Shield as its new weapon in Heart of Thorns.
Goblinworks CEO Ryan Dancey has once again posted a controversial forum note encouraging current backers of Pathfinder Online to get out and recruit more players to the game. Dancey gives readers several suggestions of places for players to recruit others to the cause.

While Square Enix is currently hard at work at a new installment of their Dissidia Final Fantasy fighting franchise, there are some out there who would probably prefer a more traditional, 2D game based on the storied roleplaying franchise.
In their latest trailer for Final Fantasy XIV, the developer gave us a glimpse of what this kind of fighter may look like. The video, which you can watch below, takes one of the game’s biggest boss battles, Livia Sas Junius of the Garlean Empire, and turns it into a fighting game complete with mechanics adapted from series staples, such as limit breaks turned into super moves.
Sadly, this video will remain only that, as Square Enix has not stated any plans whatsoever to turn this into an actual game.
