Making sacrifices to the Gods in a remote sanctuary dedicated to a particular deity is so cliche, yet it a perfect scenario to drive an objective for a Campaign. Gathering the right item, moving it to the appropriate location and then sacrificing said item all in the name of Victory Points and of course appease the Gods with your righteous sacrifice.
Although I haven’t played The Lord of the Rings Online since about the Siege of Mirkwood / Rise of Isengard era, there was a time when it was my go-to MMORPG regardless of what else I was playing. I’ve spent countless hours in Turbine’s representation of Middle-earth, and find that I still measure other MMOs up against the quality of their flagship title.
Some time back, Bandai Namco unveiled a brand new character for Tekken 7, Filipina eskrimadora Josie Rizal, and the wait for her arrival is almost over. The developer announced the newcomer will be hitting Japanese arcades next Tuesday, April 21, with Korean arcades following sometime soon after.
Designed by Mari Shimazaki of Bayonetta fame, Josie is Tekken’s first fighter of Filipino descent. Her name is an homage to Philippine national hero José Rizal and was coined by none other than Mad Catz community manager Mark “MarkMan” Julio, who is of Filipino ancestry himself.
With Josie’s impending launch, we look forward to more footage of her gameplay coming out of the arcades.

GamesIndustry.biz is reporting that Linda "Brasse" Carlson has joined Trion Worlds as the Director of Community Relations. Carlson was formerly Community Manager at Sony Online Entertainment and was subsequently laid off shortly after the company was sold off by Sony and became Daybreak Game Company.
The frog-like Hylek will be the stars of this week’s Guild Wars 2 Points of Interest.
