NCSoft has released their financial results for the first quarter of 2015, and the results are a mixed bag of the good and predictably bad. ISM|Osiris242 Shows What He’s Got in Olympic Gaming’s Latest Ultra Street Fighter IV Spotlight

This week’s Olympic Gaming player spotlight is dedicated to ISM|Osiris242’s Gouken. Gouken is one of those characters that can play an up close game or an annoying ranged game successfully depending on the character that he’s facing. He’s also equipped with some of the most explosive combo damage out there if he can get the right sort of hits going, and Osiris shows competence in all of these areas, making his Gouken an exciting one to watch.

In the footage below, you’ll see Osiris face off against a handful of high-ranking online warriors including a special appearance by the crowd-pleasing PIE|Smug. If you only watch a single fight from this reel, be sure to check out how Osiris handles what Dudley throws at him.

As with all Olympic Gaming spotlights, you can also check out the video’s description to learn more about the player.

Nekro: Charming but Dull in Early Access

Essentially a prolonged paid beta, Early Access is a great tool for indies to keep the lights on as they work their way to official launch. But the newly coined development state has its own fair share of issues, chief among which is putting a clearly unfinished game out to the general public. That’s kind of where Nekro, from DarkForge Games, sits right now. It’s an Action RPG Strategy hybrid of a game with a novel setting and design, but it’s also just kind of boring to play.

Mortal Kombat X Artist Shares Early Ermac Concepts

Some time back, NetherRealm Studios artist Justin Murray shared some of his concept art for Mileena, Ferra, and Torr as they appear in Mortal Kombat X. Now, Murray is back with another batch of concept art, this time for the series’ master of souls, Ermac.

The concept art shows a good number of concepts for the soul warrior, including some that didn’t make it into the final game. The most interesting one among these is definitely the version where Ermac is unmasked and totally devoid of his trademark red, all the while looking stockier than the svelte warrior we see in the final game, but every piece is a unique take on the classic fighter.

We’ve shared some of these concepts below, but be sure to head on over to Mortal Kombat Online for the rest.
