Sony Expecting Ultra Street Fighter IV’s First PlayStation 4 Patch Submission Tomorrow

After Ultra Street Fighter IV on PlayStation 4 saw one of the worst fighting game launches in recent memory (well, apart from Mortal Kombat X’s PC release, obviously) progress has been made on a fix according to Sony’s director of third-party production Gio Corsi.

“First patch being submitted tomorrow,” Corsi mentioned in a tweet earlier today. “Will test and update you all with improvements.”

This progress report comes just a day after a previous acknowledgement of the issues plaguing the port from Corsi as well as a message from Capcom themselves, who apparently had very little to do with its development but are now stepping in to assist in correcting the numerous issues.

At this point in time, little can be surmised as to what is actually corrected, when players will see it released, and how many patches are needed to bring the title up to speed, but at least it’s a step in the right direction. Stay tuned for more details.
