Sony is currently in the process of investigating the ever-growing list of problems with Ultra Street Fighter IV on PlayStation 4 according to Gio Corsi, the company’s Director of Third Party Production and Developer Relations.

One honestly has to wonder how nearly-invisible Sonic Booms made it past even the most lenient of testing or why this version was pushed so hard as the new competitive standard but, hey, at least this ends radio silence on the part of the developers involved.

In addition the aforementioned Guile buff, new details from Display Lag show that the input lag on PlayStation 3 has only been compounded in this current-generation offering, the exact opposite of what was boasted as a selling point during pre-launch promotions.

Corsi promises an update “soon.”

Rustymarko’s Vega Returns to Olympic Gaming’s Street Fighter IV Spotlight Series

About a year ago, Olympic Gaming dedicated an episode of their Street Fighter IV (at the time, Arcade Edition ver. 2012) player spotlight series to Arizona’s Marko “Rustymarko” Valdez. This top-notch Vega player made such an impression with his last performance that he’s been given a second highlight reel.

Marko starts out this sophomore segment with a tough round against a Makoto player who ends up getting the best of him, but it seems that that first round was merely an opportunity for Marko to download his opponent and use that knowledge against them in the coming rounds. He is able to turn it around with an impressive combination of perfect spacing and reads. Marko goes on to run through a handful of other top-ranked online warriors in a performance that you won’t want to miss.

As always, you can check out a short interview with Marko in the video’s description.
