General: What About a Native American MMO?
Native American culture is often imitated in MMORPGs. I can name several MMOs that feature races or cultures that are obviously inspired by Native cultures. Unfortunately, this often means that players are met only with tepees, totem poles and other classic Hollywood imagery inside these games, and never does any MMO get down to the realities of native life.
Relive MCZ|Daigo Umehara’s Impressive Run Through Stunfest 2015’s Ultra Street Fighter IV Finals
This was a big weekend for fighting game fans. In addition to Chicago’s inaugural Combo Breaker tournament, the folks at 3 Hit Combo brought viewers another iteration of Stunfest from France.
Stunfest 2015 drew out plenty of big Street Fighter names thank to its status as a Capcom Pro Tour premier event. While the grand finals would come down to Mad Catz’ Daigo Umehara and Momochi of Evil Geniuses, it was Infiltration (representing r/Kappa) who walked away with the Capcom Cup invite due to their previous qualifying through other means.
Below, you’ll find replays for each Ultra Street Fighter IV finals match. Be sure to give the last video in particular a watch, as it’s not only an excellent display of both competitors playing at the absolute top of their game, but also the culmination of an amazing losers bracket run by Umehara.
More footage from the event can be found here courtesy of Capcom Fighters, and full results for this and other games at Stunfest 2015 have been archived in our coverage hub.

Untitled Dengeki Bunko FIGHTING CLIMAX Sequel Announced
Sega has revealed that they will be releasing another installment in their relatively new Dengeki Bunko FIGHTING CLIMAX series sometime this summer. Developed by French-Bread and Ecole Software of Melty Blood fame, this unique fighter gives players the opportunity to face off with a handful of notable characters from Dengeki’s light novel imprint.
The sequel, as you would expect, will include a number of updates to the core gameplay mechanics as well as balance changes for the existing cast. Furthermore, Emi Yusa from The Devil is a Part-Timer! (pictured below) has been revealed as the very first addition to the playable roster.
This announcement comes at a rather odd time, as North America and Europe have yet to see the inaugural installment land on home consoles, meaning that, barring any updates, the version that arrives on PlayStation 3 later this year will already be obsolete.
Degenki Bunko FIGHTING CLIMAX’s follow-up is currently being developed exclusively for arcades, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as more details become available.
