Johnny and Jack-O’ Flaunt Their Stuff at Recent Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- Location Tests

Last weekend, Arc System Works held their first series of location tests for Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-. The follow-up to 2014’s -SIGN- features the return of veteran cast member Johnny as well as an introduction to newcomer Jack-O’, not to mention gameplay expansions like throw techs, Blitz Shield, and Burst Overdrive.

Like many location tests before them, this round of public demonstrations was confined to Japan, meaning anyone living outside the country could only wait for details and snippets of footage to find their way online as attendees gushed about the update. Fortunately, community member Jiyuna was on location, and has provided glimpses of the roster additions in action.

If our previous translations weren’t enough, these visuals should help you gain a bit more insight into how Johnny and Jack-O’ play.

Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- is expected to drop sometime this summer. A second set of location tests are planned for later this month, during which we’re sure to learn even more about the game, so stay tuned.
