Following up their successful debut earlier this year, the folks at Gaming Live are set to present the sophomore installment of the KAKUTOP League this weekend.

Similar to TOPANGA’s own league competition does for Japan and other surrounding countries, KAKUTOP gathers some of the strongest European players together to see who comes out on top in Ultra Street Fighter IV. Their inaugural outing saw some fantastic competition from regional powerhouses like MD|Luffy, GL|Valmaster, Gagapa, and Ryan Hart, who will be joined by four fresh challengers in Easyman, Problem X, Profluke, and Gamein.

The entire event will be broadcast in both French and English by Gaming Live themselves, so be sure to tune in June 6-7 to see what this mix of veteran KAKUTOP competitors and newcomers have in store.

Indie darling Skullgirls has always been the sort of game that interests a lot of people but doesn’t get a whole lot of actual playing time. The offer has also been extended to the two- and four-packs, should folks want to go in together, as well as all of the title’s currently available downloadable content. This means each additional character will only run you a buck apiece with the exception of Beowulf, who is still free.
