Newcomer Jack O Joins the Cast of Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-
The latest cast addition to Arc System Works’ upcoming Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- has been revealed, thanks to a leak of this week’s Weekly Famitsu. The silhouette that Arc System Works previously teased belongs to the mysterious woman Jack O, an all-new addition to the Guilty Gear Xrd update alongside returning favorite Johnny. She is the third of That Man’s close servants alongside I-No and Raven. While very little is known of the character’s profile or play style, she apparently uses comical attacks.
A few details on the battle system for REVELATOR have been revealed as well. Fundamentally, REVELATOR preserves the same balance as the previous version, though the expansions to the game’s basic systems will increase the depth of strategy. After a successful Blitz Shield, it’s now possible to utilize a “power blow”. Whether this indicates a mortal counter or some sort of specific attack is currently unclear.
Be on the look out for more details on Jack O and -REVELATOR- when the next issue of Famitsu officially drops later this week, and tell us what you think about the new character in the comments below.
