Ketchup Shares Some Basic Combos and Resets for Mortal Kombat X’s Warlock Quan Chi

While it’s already been proven Mortal Kombat X’s Quan Chi wields tremendous power in his Summoner variation, the tools available to him in Warlock haven’t seen as much play. Fortunately, Ketchup is here to show off some basics that you can implement into your game if you plan on picking up this fighting style.

In the video below, Ketchup demonstrates a number of useful bread and butters that can provide consistent damage over a wide variety of situations. Near the end, he also provides tips on a few reset opportunities that can be set up with his meterburned stab attack.

And the best part? These all work with the latest patch in place!

10563044_1002320779787908_798125670040430976_nOne of the great things about Evolution is that, aside from the featured games on the main stage, many side tournaments also happen at the venue for fans of other titles, even classics like, say, Capcom vs. SNK 2.

Legendary Capcom vs. SNK 2 player Ryo “D44BAS” Yoshida, with the help of the fine folks at Mad Catz, will be hosting a side tournament for his game of choice at Evolution 2015. The tournament itself will take place on Saturday, July 18, at the Mad Catz booth.

Format will be double elimination, best 2 out of 3 games, played on the PlayStation 2 version.

Those interested can register here or at the Mad Catz booth from 10 AM-12 PM on the day of the tournament. Further information on the event can be found either on Facebook or on Shoryuken’s own forums.
