Yesterday we featured an article about Pac-Man’s ability to cause his opponents to fall through stages, but it seems that isn’t the only glitch that the Namco representative is bringing to the fight in the current version of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

Pac-Man aficionado PEPESPAIN has uncovered what may be the scariest edge guarding method in the game, thanks to a glitch that they’re calling the “angry hydrant.” It seems that a hydrant dropped with precise timing won’t fire any water, but will maintain an active hitbox for its duration. This means that the retro gaming icon can drop this hydrant after knocking an opponent from the stage, then sit back and watch them struggle to return.

So far, PEPESPAIN says that this only works on the right side of the stage, but it definitely looks to be worth picking up for all of you Pac-Mains out there.
