Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn: Heavensward – A Compelling, Well-Polished Expansion
I grew up with the Final Fantasy series so it always pulls at my nostalgic heartstrings whenever a new one is released. Disappointed with the release of XIV in its 1.0 state I was amazed at how Square Enix was able to right the ship with the release of A Realm Reborn. XI was a great MMO and now SE has been able to turn XIV into a worthy, if not direct, successor.

Yes, Blaziken Will Still Be Playable in Pokkén Tournament
When we received our first hint at Pokkén Tournament’s existence back in 2013, the brief footage teased at an impending battle between Lucario and Blaziken. While the former Fighting-type was one of the earliest Pokémon to be revealed for the upcoming title, the latter has yet to make an official appearance outside of the Pokémon Game Show video.
Fortunately for fans of the fiery avian, Bandai Namco and The Pokémon Company have finally made the official announcement that Blaziken will be playable in Pokkén Tournament after the title’s scheduled update in August.
This news comes courtesy of the latest issue of Famitsu. According to translations from Gematsu, Blaziken will employ a variety of offensive techniques to overwhelm opponents. Flare Drive (known as Flare Blitz in North America) is specifically mentioned, though it’s unknown how the attack has transitioned from the original RPG series.
Pokkén Tournament is scheduled to launch in Japanese arcades on July 16.

Bafael Wraps Up Some Loose Ends with Six Ultra Street Fighter IV Tutorials
With Street Fighter V’s beta so close we can practically smell the freshly-rendered hadoukens, many players are saying their (likely temporary) goodbyes to Ultra Street Fighter IV. How each individual treats this parting will vastly differ based on personal experiences with the game, but in the case of tech guru Bafael, a wave goodbye comes in the form of drawing unfinished projects to a close.
Below, you’ll find six of Bafael’s most recent Ultra Street Fighter IV tech videos. These topics range from effective ways to anti-air with every member of the cast, to explanations for how trip guard and landing frames work, as well as methods of milking the most damage out of an FADC and plenty more.
