World of Warcraft: What We’d Like to See (and Not See) in the Next Expansion
Many WoW players are pinning their hopes on the Eye of Azshara, a name that Blizzard trademarked late last year (and the subject of our WoW column earlier this week). Rather than focus on what we’d like to see lore-wise, let’s take a few minutes to look at the things we’d like to see (and NOT see) from a feature standpoint in this next as-yet-unnamed expansion.
Rising Thunder Gets the Doopliss Treatment During Alpha Access
The technical alpha test for Radiant Entertainment’s Rising Thunder kicked off today, and it looks like combo mastermind Doopliss has already taken the game’s cast of giant fighting robots for an extensive test drive.
While this is (very) early footage of the game, it does offer a glimpse at the sort of combo mechanics that we can expect. Among these, Rising Thunder includes a juggle counter to keep combos from getting out of hand. If you take a look at the video, it’s easy to see the necessity for a system like that, as corner loops are very much available.
If you’d like a chance to get your hands on this game before (nearly) everyone else, be sure to sign up for the alpha test by following this link.
