Scope Out the Competition Heading to Taipei for Taiwan Fighter Major 2015 This Weekend

This weekend, the Capcom Pro Tour action moves on to the city of Taipei in Taiwan. While not as populous as other regions, the island nation is home to some of the best Ultra Street Fighter IV players on the planet, including AVerMedia’s Gamerbee and Razer’s RB.

To help people get hype for the event, Beast of the East has released a new trailer that highlights some of the players flying in from various locales to challenge the local powerhouses. Spectators can expect to see high-level competitors like Razer’s Xian and Itabashi Zangief; Chuan from Malaysia; China’s Dark Jiewa; Humanbomb of Canada Cup Gaming; Hong Kong’s Codynp; Shiro and Kim1234 of YUBIKEN; the United States’ Sketch and MillerTime; a Japanese contingent including Misse, Tonpy, KoujiKOG, Reiketsu, KOK, Gonzales; and many more.

Taiwan Fighter Major 2015 is scheduled for August 22. You’ll be able to catch all the action live courtesy of Capcom Fighters.

Deontay Wilder to fight Johann Duhaupas on September 26

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (34-0, 33 KOs) will defend his belt against little-known French fighter Johann Duhaupas (32-2, 20 KOs) on September 26 in his home state of Alabama.
