Smash @ Xanadu feat. Super Smash Bros. Melee Streaming Live

The folks over at VGBootCamp recently went live with another installment of Smash @ Xanadu from Xanadu Games in Baltimore, Maryland. These weekly broadcasts provide a great look at the region’s Smash community, and tonight’s installment will feature competition in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Some of the players in attendance include MVG|Mew2King, The Moon, DJ Nintendo, and more.

Shards Online: Special Backer Housing Playtest Scheduled for August 19th

Shards Online backers should be aware that the scheduled August 15th playtest has been moved to Wednesday, August 19th and will include a new build including housing. The team is looking for feedback on the first pass of the housing system.

Chrono Wars: If Only I Could Go Back in Time

What message does it send when one of the greatest features in a video game is the ability to not play it? What does it say about the quality of that game, about the exchange that you are expected to make of your time and money in return for an experience? Chrono Wars pushes this question with almost every kilobyte of its being, and after spending the last few weeks grinding away to increase my character’s power, I’m afraid there is only one obvious answer.

Next Level Battle Circuit #133 feat. Ultra Street Fighter IV and Mortal Kombat X Streaming Live

This week’s installment of Next Level Battle Circuit is now streaming live courtesy of Team Spooky. As usual, the event is being broadcast from its namesake, Next Level Arcade, in New York City. Tonight, they’ll be running Ultra Street Fighter IV and Mortal Kombat X, featuring some of the best players on the east coast.
