Arc System Works Promises “Significant” Announcement During Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- Launch Event

The day before Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- launches in Japanese arcades, Arc System Works is set to commemorate the occasion with a special launch event. In addition to the in-house tournament, the developers have also promised to make a “significant” announcement concerning new information.

As this is a Guilty Gear celebration, one can expect the details to possibly concern future updates, but with BlazBlue: Central Fiction’s impending release and Arc System Works’ desire to create a brand new franchise in mind, there’s no telling what we’ll find out.

All of the festivities will be broadcast through Niconico Live beginning on August 24 at 4 AM PDT, 7 AM EDT.

Toshin-Gekitotsu Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- Exhibition Streaming Live from Tokyo, Japan

Tonight, Arc System Works and PlayStation will be bringing together some of the best Guilty Gear players in the world to compete at Toshin-Gekitotsu in Tokyo, Japan. Their opponents? A team comprised of high-level fighting game players from all over the community, including legends like Mad Catz’ Daigo Umehara and sako of HORI.

This massive exhibition will play out in Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, providing us an interesting glimpse at how gods of the franchise fare against their contemporaries from other titles.

The Star Citizen site has been updated with a look at the progress being made on one of the game’s core features, Star Marine. While several issues have cropped up during a recent merge to integrate work done by a variety of teams working on the project, Star Marine is progressing as the team continues to battle the bugs.
