Everyone has a fighting chance
Companions are finally getting a shakeup in the new expansion for Star Wars: the Old Republic. BioWare Austin has set themselves the task of making companions interesting once more, with some meaty choices where one or more of them could die as part of your Outlander storyline.
On Tuesday night I caught up with two of the team members from Visionary Realms. Creative Director for Pantheon Rise of the Fallen Chris Perkin and Director of Communications Benjamin de la Durantaye. Read on to see what the two of them had to say about what Visionary Realms has been up to for the past 12 months.
Now that a week or two have passed since Blizzard’s Gamescom announcement of the World of Warcraft expansion, Legion, it’s time to turn the eye to the things that, at this early stage of information, cause the heart to flutter in both good and worrisome ways.
Of the many new V-Skills given to characters in Street Fighter V, one that players seem to have trouble coming to grips with early on is Chun-Li’s Rankyaku. The move, which launches her at an angle towards the opponent, functions both as an attack and a pseudo-short hop.
In this new video, Nilo demonstrates some of the ways Chun-Li’s V-Skill can be used to set up combos. These are done either from using it as a jump-in or as a launcher when close to the opponent. They also break down how certain moves behave, depending on the spacing when Rankyaku hits.
Take note that, since these are based off the beta version, some of the combos demonstrated below may change when the games comes out on PlayStation 4 and PC next year.

Hearthstone players have a lot to look forward to with the release of the Grand Tournament expansion on Monday, August 24th. The expansion comes packed with 124 new cards along with the new Joust feature.

GTArcade has let us know that League of Angels: Fire Raiders is now more accessible to the worldwide community than ever. Both French and German versions of the game are now available. In addition, the v2.2 patch brings the new Friend System into the game as well.
The Guild Wars 2 Facebook page was updated yesterday with an image that appears to be teasing the Warrior Elite Specialization. Of particular note is the inclusion of a torch. What it signifies remains to be seen. What are your thoughts?
