Chanel, Narakhof, and Knee Come Up Big at Tekken Crash

For those of you who haven’t been keeping up, Tekken Crash’s grand finals played out earlier this week. This competition signified the tournament’s return to public broadcasting in South Korea, showing the world what their population is capable of in Tekken 7.

At the end, only two teams remained: Indigos, comprised of relatively new faces like Triple H, Langchu, and Low High; and Resurrection, the veteran team comprised of Chanel, Narakhof, and Knee.

After winning Tekken Crash Returns earlier this year, Narakhof and Knee recruited runner-up Chanel to create a team many were ready to crown before the event even started. Indigos, however, made huge waves by defeating Resurrection in the very first round, thanks to a convincing OCV by Langchu’s Gigas. Both teams would continue to dominate the competition, setting up the eventual rematch.

While exciting in its own right, the grand finals heavily featured Tekken 7 newcomers Gigas, Claudio, and Shaheen, the lattermost with representation on both teams thanks to Knee and Low High. Although they don’t have the history of fighters like Kazuya or Heihachi, these cast members certainly shine in terms of competitive viability.

Was Resurrection able to overcome the team that beat them early on, or did Indigos prove they had what it took to stand up to Tekken legends? Be sure to check out the video below for the exciting conclusion.
